Hi,

First post here and just started Kalcker's CDS protocol 1.  I am particularly hoping for improvement in asthma/copd/endemic cough, and atrial fibrilation.  I'm 72, male.

I am confused about the relationship of supplements to CDS and have read that anti-oxidant supplements work against the effectiveness of CDS?

I would appreciate being pointed to a source that deals with this issue in sufficient depth to enable me to understand this relationship, and thereby make a properly informed choice of my way forward.

For some years now since successfully taking charge of further malignant melanoma recurrences I have developed my own anticancer supplement regime based on widely recommended anticancer agents.

I take the following daily, first thing:

Turmeric with black pepper capsules
High dose vitamin D3 (5,000iu)
Magnesium Glycinate (to as I understand it maintain adequate magnesium levels which might otherwise crash from vit D mobilisation, and are chronically low in most people to start with. This is not universally acknowledged amongst D advocates though, so may be misinformation?)
Flax oil and cod liver oil capsules for the Omega3.
Zinc (picolinate) tablets, (recommended also as part of a covid prophylactic regime).
CoQ10 and Choline recently added to address increase in atrial fibrilation.
All of these supplements are listed as having antioxidant properties, which seems to put them to the question in relation to CDS?

In particular I don't understand the claim that vitC should be avoided as the CDS will be used up on neutralising it, if I have understood correctly?  If this is so, does CDS neutralise the body's own naturally acquired vitC from a healthy diet?!  I find that especially a disturbing question.

I read here that some leave 2 hours between taking supplements and CDS, but given that these supplement regimes don't just disappear from the body after 2 hours wouldn't the CDS regime undermine it, and vice versa?

Either/or?  Integration?

Thank you for any help understanding these issues.
