CDS = sodium chlorite + citric acid
and there are 2 kinds of citric acid

citric acid anhydrous     192.124   g/mol
citric acid monohydrate 210.14     g/mol

which kind is better? or both are ok?

Anhydrous is easier as it's a one for one measurement of water and citric acid. Monohydrate you have to do some calculations.

What calculations must be done for monohydrate?  I found by doing research that citric acid powder used for canning tomatoes (found in walmart and the like) is not anhydrous.  I would like to be able to mix what I have for future use if needed.  Have a nice day.
