Hi guys,

I just got my CDS (24,000 ppm). I am on day 3 of the starting protocol myself and I would like to start my 9 year old 126-130 lb. Rhodesian Ridgeback/Doberman Houndy-dog on it also. He has lumps of varying degrees and hardnesses,  I don't think any are cancerous at this point, just fatty. He is not fat and he doesn't have any other health issues. Except maybe on cusp of diabetes, but then he always has been a water hog who pees a lot! He isn't super active, just a cranky old fart collecting lumps. Boy do I love him, lumps and all! 😊♥️

So I've been reading other posts and trying to figure out how to dose him but it seems most people are using the MMS for their pups.

What I gathered is about 5 drops for a dog of 125-139 lbs, in 5-10ml. Of broth, in a non-metal bowl. Here are my questions:

Is 5 drops of CDS appropriate (as opposed to MMS or one of the other solutions) for a dog his size?

How many times a day?

And does he need to be eased onto the dose, or just start at that dose unless he gets sick, then back off a drop or two?

And what would y'all suggest as far as maintenance, if it works on his lumpies? Continue with the same dose or add some to his Water bowl?

I am grateful for the help and guidance. I have been reading a lot but I have memory retention problems and get overwhelmed with the different solutions. I'm not sure which is best for what... So I just bought CDS as a starting point! Anyways, thanks again, I look forward to your advice! 😀

Hi there, I was hoping someone would answer your question because I am wondering the same thing and so far I've not found anything too definitive about it online. As far as maintenance dosing for pets goes, the rule I've heard is 4 drops of Sodium Chlorite (28%..?..I'm using 22%) to one quart of water in their drinking bowel.

This works well for general health because their own stomach acid will act as the activator and no need to worry about the CD evaporating off.
I did come across some posts mentioning the 'C' protocol for sick pets or situations where you are doing more than just maintenance but I'm guessing you would adjust it for your pets body weight..(?)

In the case of our oldest Dachshund (who has the same 'lumpy' issue as your pooch) we have started out slowly giving 2 drops of 3000ppm CDS 2x daily (put into a teaspoon of pumpkin sauce) and he's had no issues at all so will start going up over the next few days to 5x daily and then see

It's more or less been a guessing game just comparing my own Protocol-C dose of 20 drops of CDS per hour at my weight of 170lbs to his size at 10lbs. and 2 drops is what I came up with that sounded reasonable. This could be under dosing, but best to start slow and work up keeping a watchful eye on his behavior.

Would love to hear somebody more experienced weigh in on this.

Wait. You take 20 drops an hour?! I thought it was like 3 an hour max! I've been putting like 8 drops in my dogs water, so that's between a half gallon and a whole gallon. And I put 8 drops in 3/4-1 cup water and I have been putting it on his lumps a time or two a day. I keep finding more, some deep and not the movable fatty type that don't concern me too much. He hasn't needed to go out more or poop more. He comes out to drink his "pool water" with me every time I go mix mine up. 🥰

Yes it's 20 drops (1mL) of 3000ppm CDS per hour on protocol C for human consumption which equals 10mL 3000ppm CDS per day.
You might be thinking of the MMS protocol which is 3 drops MMS + 3 drops activator hourly.

So for each hour you are effectively taking 1ml of the CDS, and that 1 mL equals 20 drops
I have actually upped my dosage to 30mL CDS per 1 liter and doing just fine with it, so I am taking now 60 drops per hour 3000ppm CDS.

You mentioned purchasing 24,000 ppm so you dilute that down or adjust it for your own application to match the 3000ppm strength.

There is a chapter about Pets in Jim Humbles book I have heard but I don't know the details and it might be instructions for MMS rather than CDS.
So for now I am following standard C protocol for my doggies with reduced amount based on their body weight compared to mine. I'm still not sure if that is the most efficient approach or not when trying to clear up a present health issue.

Oh and also, CDS put into your pooches water bowl will not likely be effective at all because it evaporates off quickly above 54 degrees
(11 degrees celsius). It is recommended to use the Sodium Chlorite (MMS) drops instead because it will react with the stomach acids to activate directly in your pooches belly. You can mix up your own Sodium Chlorite solution by purchasing 80% Sodium Chlorite flakes. I purchased 100 grams for $8 off amazon which makes 8 ounces of solution. You then add 4 drops of this per 1 quart of your pets water.

I think he means 20 drops of CDS, not 20 drops of MMS1.

For instance 20 drops of water = 1ml of water.
