CDS can not be used as an IV without pH adjustment. That information is not published yet. All we have is some information on injection, not on IV, and that was taken from videos of treatment in Central America. I don't know the time involved.

I, personally, would not use baking soda for an injection - I would use MMS1 (28% sodium chlorite solution which is not activated) to buffer the CDS.

Andreas says it is much better to buffer to 5.5-6.5 pH using sodium chlorite (MMS). Therefore, based on Andreas' advice, it would be better to buffer the CDS for injection using MMS drops till you get to 6.5 pH measured on a digital pH meter.

There are side effects you may want to be aware of. I do not know, for sure, what the affects of baking soda would be. Also, note that this is for injection, not for intravenous/
