hello,
I am a newbie and starting the protocol today. This seems like a silly question, but I struggle with not drinking coffee or yerba mate tea while doing the protocol. I will definitely give them upif necessary, but if there is a way to incorporate it them then I am sure my family will be grateful. Is it possible to drink a cup of coffee 2 hours before starting the protocol for the day or does it interfere? I read somewhere to drink coffee 2 hours after doing the protocol (like the end of the day). Maybe the timing makes a difference? Thank you for any light you can shed on this topic!

If you drink coffee or tea before dosing chlorine dioxide (CLO2) you might as well not ingest CLO2 because caffeine will kill it.

Please read the attached PDF file.

I weaned myself off coffee over time using chicory by replacing 1/8 every few days.  It tastes very similar and I had no withdrawals. Was off coffee in a month.

I'm new here and I'm signed and I can't open the links. What do I do to fix this?

I too thought you could consume it hours before starting the protocol. Thanks for the clarification. I too drink coffee and yerba mate. Not being able to drink them would be more of a psychological issue than solely for the caffeine, though the caffeine boost is always appreciated!

A few months ago, I read comments from two different people who were both drinking coffee, then waiting one or two hours before beginning hourly CLO2 dosing, and how it seemed stronger as the day progressed. I wonder why!

So, they both stopped drinking coffee before CLO2 dosing began, and then they noticed improvement in recovering from their health ailments.

Whoever started the 1 to 2 hour interval before dosing, never bothered to look up how long coffee or tea remained active in a human body. Now we know that coffee / tea / caffeine lasts about 12 hours before their effects are gone.
