A couple of quick questions

Hello.
I am new to this and have a couple of questions. I have Jim's book. I have read through it.

1. If I begin the Starting Procedure as described starting on page 80, what do I do with the discarded MMS1? I saw on another thread that it was suggested to leave it in the sun--I have no sunlight right now.  Can I pour it down the drain? Or should I not do that because it should not come in contact with metal?

2. I have read that MMS1 should not be used for brushing teeth. Should I drink it with a straw?
