Not sure about using MMS for heartworms in a dog, but you could try following Jim Humble's Animal Protocols. Attached is his latest version from his 2019 book.

The best thing to do for your dog is to give it fenbendazole immediately. It is perfectly safe. If your dog has worms then so do you. So you should also take it.
