Greetings!
I'm new here and new to ClO2, DMSO, et, al.  I've seen many warnings about DMSO and how it can easily dissolve and carry substances into the body.  What containers, lids and applicators are used for this stuff?  I wear nail polish, but want to apply it to skin.  The only thing I've seen recommended so far is butyl gloves (see   amo-csd.lbl.gov/downloads/Chemical%20Resistance%20of%20Gloves.pdf ) which are hard to find and expensive (see www.fishersci.com/shop/products/north-13-mil-butyl-chemical-resistant-gloves/19025585).  I have found a roller bottle that has a polypropylene ball (see  www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=137970&clickid=acc-slider), but I'm not clear if this is close enough to high/low density polypropylene.  If anyone has solid data, not just personal preference or anecdotes, I am all ears!
Thanks so much!  AMW

The pharmacy Ive dealt with in the past say they store in HDPE plastic / spray bottles and glass. I apply it to my skin using HDPE spray bottles (after making sure your skin is clean).

Don't use rubber, or rubber droppers.

LDPE and HDPE bottles are fine, but HDPE would be best IMO.

Would using white cotton balls to apply DMSO present any problems that you know of?  Or silicone tipped tongs?
