I distilled my propur filtered water and what was at the bottom of the distiller when done smelled and was disgusting. I'm assuming it is fluoride which is the hardest to filter out. Delta50 Offline New Member Posts: 1 Thank you received: 0	Brita or carbon filters aren't good enough but slightly better than tap. Tap water is the worst. Mineral water is suggested as okay. I've started distilling my own water, wiki how shows the method. Basically, steam condensing on an upturned lid with ice on it.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
