Thx for the addour puppy is a 9 yr old BTwe think, due to signs that he has had Cushings for a little over a yr. he exhibits all of the symptoms excessive drinking excessive water consumption panting etc etcwe are from the Houston arearight now we are in Colorado and have been for 2 weeks. Head home tomorrow Blazer has a nose that is severely stopped up so we took him to the vet as a precaution bloodwork came back and the vet says he is a type II diabetic now it all sank in after some research that we did not act soon enough on the tale tale signs that if we would have acted differently we may have/could kept him fro being a diabetic so my questions are endlesswe have no clue what to dowe can start by getting him to his vet and start the slow process of figuring out exactly what is wrong and what we can dothis is the first we have heard of MMSwhat is it and what does it do?what are our best options?do we wait for the vet to determine how much/what kind of insulin he gets do we do our own testsinject ourselves we’re lost and extremely mad at each other for the way this has wentBlazer is our fourth child and been a huge part of our life for the last 9 yrswhat can we expect as far as longevity quality of lifei could go on and onI appreciate any help
