Dear all :)

I have an urgent questions.

My mum didnt listen closely and did put my CDS into a glass bottle with a metal cap. The CDS got in touch with the cap.
The cap has some sort of rubber cover but still.

Is the CDS still safe to use or should I mix new CDS, just in case the rubber cover didnt protect the CDS from touching the metal cap?

Many thx in advance. Its my first run ever, so sorry if the question is stupid.

Best regards

I would be concerned with the rubber coming in contact with CDS.

Short-term contact is probably not a problem.

If you don't have any other suitable cap, then take some kitchen wrap and use it as a cap. Keep it in place with a rubber band so chlorine dioxide gas (CLO2) does not escape from the bottle. And of course, keep the CDS cold (less than 10C/50F) and away from ultra-violet light.
