Hey just trying to get some advice.
we have sourced some 25%sodium choride and 4% hydrochloric acid solutions.
We then followed Andres kalcker instructions how to make it, with 5ml of both substances for 12 hours X 2.
First run our solution was at 500ppm, when it was meant to be closer to 3000ppm.
Second attempt we increased to 10ml of both for 12 hours X2 and still we were not much over the 500ppm.

Does anyone have any advice if something may be wrong or.if the product is just not good.

How are you measuring CLO2 PPM? You should be diluting a 1ml test sample in 59ml of water. If you have 3000ppm CDS, the color match will be at the 50ppm color on the test strip container. Multiply 50 x 60 = 3000ppm.

If it's any consolation I am in Ireland and have found my CDS comes out better/stronger when I give the infusions 2 days for each (4 days in total for me to make CDS). I don't know if it's a humidity thing or what it is, but for me in Ireland to make better CDS after I put the clip-jar into the press/cupboard I give it two days for the first and two days for the second infusions. I also personally do it later in the evening when I need artificial light so the UV sun isn't bothering me so much. I personally do not stick the syringe into the bottle, but instead disassemble the syringe and pour the bottle into the syringe with a finger over the tip of the plastic oral syringe, ensuring cross-contamination of the two bottles is virtually impossible. I had issues with cross-mixing of the bottles initially when I learned about making CDS (my CDS turned out to be bitter and disgusting and this seemed to be the cause (I ended up with MMS-CDS, unintentionally). And I give each bottle a gentle shake before making the CDS, just to be sure each is mixed evenly (I don't know if you need to shake the bottles, but it gives me peace of mind).

I no longer have issues making weak or bitter tasting CDS concentrate.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
