I have bought a cds kit (activator and chlorine dioxide salt liquid) last year and I have not opened it and haven't used it. is it safe to use this for oral consumption? or is it expired? does it go bad? thanks!

CLO2 Offline Administrator Posts: 5560 Thank you received: 4393	It should be fine after one year. From testing, I have found MMS can degrade after about 18 months when stored at room temperature.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
