Hi,
I've not posted for a while.. But I have tried many protocols, both Jim's and Andrea's to get rid of a resparitory problem I've had for a while.... I also done my back in and ended up with sciatica (quite bad!) so I was taking CDS... then I did jim's 6&6 MMS to see if that would help....... around the same time i had this procedure done on my nose - Radiofrequency Turbinate Reduction... Now, not long after this procedure I started waking up with really dry mouth.. extremely dry tongue... and I've now had it for 4 weeks straight!! I have tried MMS (and CDS) mouthwashes.. but that make sit worse!! (must be the acid!) I am now thinking that with all the times I've done protocols trying to rid myself of the upper resp.problem I have over done it with DMSO etc... and the 6&6 and I have killed too much stuff in my gut and I have sour mouth... It is horrendous!! It jumps from unbearable tongue to then the feeling of very very dry inner walls of mouth!! I have tried everything.. I was back again at the doctor who did the RTR on me... and he gave me medication.. but this is his 2nd attempt at trying to fix me... I dunno if it was just a coincidense that I had his procedure done on my nose at same time I was trying to eradicate sciatica etc with MMS/CDS - I remember a guy who always used to post here and he left me a message on forum a while ago when I had added in DMSO and he specificaly was telling me to be careful with DMSO and asked me specifically about my tongue, mouth etc... but his posts have disappeared.. I'm sure he was called CHRIS... Can anyone help? is this Chris still around?? what can I do?? I've had this "sour" mouth and unbearable tongue now for 4 weeks constantly!! It is HORRENDOUS!!!

Regarding the "Dry mouth" symptom. When I hold CDS in my mouth for a few minutes and then swallow, I find that I get a VERY dry mouth and chalky feeling which consistantly stays for the rest of the day. Could this be what you are experiencing? I also have noticed that I have teeth enamel erosion from holding it in my mouth. I'm still experimenting on the best way for me to absorb CLO2.

If you check the pH of the CDS + water you are holding in your mouth, you may find that it is acidic. That can soften tooth enamel.

I was reading an article the other day and it mentioned taking Boron and that is was alkaline. I take 5 ml of boron daily. I measured the pH of the stock solution of Boron and it was 8.7

You could try adding Boron to your CDS dose and see if that makes a difference. I do not know if Boron will reduce CLO2 in CDS. It might if it is an antioxidant.

I received my PH indicator sheets (5.6 to 8.0) and established that the water I was using had a medium range PH very light blue and when CDS was added it went very yellow, low PH (under 5.6 which is the minimum on my indicator). When using mineral water (not sure if this is the best type of water to mix it with...) with a very high PH 8.0, the addition of CDS kept it between 7 and 8. I guess the water PH make a big difference! I will experiment with this over the next few days and see if I experience throat irritation/dry scratchy throat.

I also used some high pH water recently to make CDS and the pH of the CDS was the same as the water, 7.7

The high pH water did not degrade CLO2 in the CDS I made.

So, the key to using CDS, CDH and MMS1 for safe teeth brushing is to use a high pH water when making those CLO2 solutions.

Your grocery store may sell alkaline water.
