I saw a mention of “not storing mms & activator in the fridge “?? I’ve been keeping it in the fridge..... should I pull it out and keep in cupboard??

I thought I read on page 49 of Jim’s book that the fridge was the best place to store “ mms ( 22.4 sodium chlorite in water”.
“A cool dark place will suffice if refrigerator space is not available”.

Did he mean long time storage, then?

if so bummer...should I pull it out??

I think Jim is referring to storing a stock supply of MMS and keeping that in a fridge. When I make a batch of MMS , there is about 450ml of MMS which is stored in a brown pint bottle. The life of that MMS can be extended if kept in a fridge because of the colder temperature. But, I keep it in a room temperature dark pantry because that MMS is often used for testing purposes and cold MMS will slow down MMS activation. From testing I have found that room temperature MMS shelf life is about 18 months.

If you have a small bottle of MMS, such as 4 fl oz (120 ml), room temperature storage is suggested if you are making MMS1, because the activation time is only 30 seconds. If making CDS or CDH, then cold MMS is okay to use because the activation time is much longer and MMS will warm up during the long activation time.

( I can say, that even though I have been refrigerating it, it has been amber, has had chlorine “smell”. And I haven’t needed ginger for the whole 11 days I’ve been on it ~ miracle if you ask me, since I’ve needed ginger for the past 2 years at least, to battle nausea....yay!!!)

MMS is Sodium Chlorite dissolved in distilled water, which can be stored for months in a cool dark place. MMS1 is drops of MMS plus an activator such as HCl or citric acid. Jim Humble recommends making MMS1 fresh for each dose.

J10Davis Offline Senior Member Posts: 68 Thank you received: 7	I put 16 drops of mmsl in 16oz of water and store it in a container. Then if l want to take 1 drop or 1/2 drop l measure out 30ml which is 1 oz or 15ml put it in 4ozs of water and drink it. .

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
