Storing sodium chlorite

About 1 year ago I purchased some Sodium Chlorite from  'Prescribed for Life'  and kept my unused product in the original packaging (not sure of its name but looks good quality) out of the light but not in the fridge I would like to check  this is OK and whether I should move it into the fridge and/or replace the container

All about dry sodium chlorite... at least 20 year shelf life if stored properly. I store dry SC in glass canning jars with plastic lids in cool, dark locations.

Get some dry citric acid crystals (PforLife) they should last at least 9 years from my testing. 

You can make MMS1, CDS and CDH from those two dry ingredients. I will be publishing a paper on that idea in the near future. 

When you say cool does this mean fridge is OK ?
Still not sure about the packaging provided by PforLife  Looks good quality Does anyone know what it is called and its storage qualities

If you store SC in a fridge you risk causing condensation inside the container which could cause the SC to become wet. That would be a big problem. 

From my personal experience, storing SC in plastic bags will cause the plastic to disintegrate into a million tiny bits of plastic after a few years. 

You asked questions and I gave you answers based upon my years of experience with MMS. 

If you want to experiment, go ahead and report back to us in a few years what happened to your SC. 

For some reason, some people like to reinvent the wheel.
