My dog just had puppies. I have heard that most puppies when weaned get diarrhea often caused by the mother passing coccidia to the puppies through her milk.
I understand that many dogs have this but aren't affected by it. But the puppies of course are too young for it not to effect them. I'd like to give the mother MMS while she is nursing hoping that the puppies won't get it. However, reading the dosages for dogs is confusing. It says 8 drops for a small dog. I take 3 drops. Does anyone A: know the dosage for 20 lb dog. B: has anyone found that it will in fact kill the coccidia in the mother therefore preventing her passing it on to her pups. Thank you for any information you can give me

Are you trying to follow MMS1 dosing for animals in Jim Humble's book, MMS Health Recovery Guidebook, which starts on page 289?

Yes I am. Sorry it's taken me awhile to get back to this. I'm assuming that the 8 drops is referring to non activated? I would like to know the dosage for activated so I can give them some when I am taking mine. At this time I am doing 8 hours a day, 3 drops and since they are small dogs should be able to just give them a little of my mix. I actually started doing just that today, 1ml to my 20 lb dog, 0.7ml to my 10 lb dog.
I believe that the dosage for activated mms is in one of his earlier books but I have lent both my copies out and never received them back so if you have any information I would appreciate it

"I'm assuming that the 8 drops is referring to non activated?"

I am not up to speed with the animal section in Jim's book and it takes a while to understand how to works. If those 8 drops are MMS1, then they are activated. Jim does not normally recommend ingesting unactivated MMS.

I had asked Jim's assistant, Cari, to answer your questions since she and Jim wrote the animal section. I guess she is too busy.
