MMS1/MMS2 for dog with lymphoma

I think I answered my own question based on an old Jim Humble video I came by - it was 10% citric acid?

The old MMS protocols used 10% citric acid, so the mix was 1:5 MMS and 10% citric acid activated for 3 minutes.

Our dog Betsy is beginning to have a hard time ingesting the CDH mixed with DMSO (she is too sweet to get angry, but she is resisting = I assume it is based on taste) and I have a couple of questions. She has begun having a runny nose - could this be a result of a Herxheimer reaction? or is this a reaction to the CDH+DMSO? - she feels otherwise good! Does the CDH taste better when it is made with HCL than with Citric Acid? When mixing CDH with DMSO is it possible to add something to improve the taste? - I have added chicken broth (unsalted) to the CDH when not using DMSO, but I am concerned the DMSO will create an unwanted reaction with the chicken broth so I have only used distilled water together with DMSO - I dont even know if the DMSO will bind to the chicken broth. The only lymph nodes that still are palpable are the ones on the rear legs (very small though). Yesterday I started holding a shot glass with CDS and DMSO over the lumph nodes on her rear legs and I can see that a big part of the fluid is absorbed into the skin - are there anyone that can see a problem with that method? - I wanted to very directly target those lymph nodes and expedite the process as it might appear as these are the only ones where lymphoma is still present. I find it "interesting" that all other lymph nodes are tiny and not palpable except for the ones in the rear legs almost as not enough CD is getting to them as they are the last lymph nodes in the system - which is why I came up with the shot glass method. Last blood test showed no circulating lymphoma cells and her white blood cell count was elevated as her body is begin to recognize that something is not right and is fighting back.

To my taste buds, there is a huge difference in taste between CA and HCL. And, CA can cause stomach problems for some people and maybe animals, too. Andreas Kalcker says in his recent book, Forbidden Health, on page 71:

"Precaution 7
Using citric acid as an activator can provoke intestinal acidosis in sensitive individuals causing diarrhea, discomfort, and Citro-bacteria (bacteria that feeds on citrates). This mix is never used anymore, although it is equally effective. Note: Citric acid can be used to make CDS because it doesn’t go in the final mix. We only use the gas created."

The reason you are making CDH with citric acid is because sellers of MMS products keep selling it! I have tried to discuss this and other problems with some of the products sellers market, but they ignore my advice. The other problem is that Jim continues to say it is okay to use CA as an activator, yet he also says HCL is the preferred activator.

I would be careful using DMSO. A little goes a long way. Since your dog doesn't like taking CDH now, I would stop adding DMSO, use HCL to make CDH and see what happens. I am assuming that you are adding DMSO to each dose and not to the bottle of CDH. DMSO will reduce CLO2 content in a short time.

When treating those lymph nodes topically, using CLO2 gas and applying CDH directly to the skin should be okay. But, don't leave the solution on her skin too long.

Thank you for your reply Charlotte- as usual really appreciated! Why would you be careful with DMSO orally? - we are adding the DMSO per dose and using 3drops per 2ml CDH? We are using CDS for the topical use - almost certain you meant that

Because your dog is not liking CDH orally, I would change the activator from CA to 4% HCL and eliminate DMSO for now. See how that goes.

Topically, I think CDS is best and you can add DMSO, but you don't need much of it. On myself, for skin problems, I only add 1 drop of DMSO, and that is diluted 70/30.
