I'm using 22.4% sodium chlorite liquid with 4% Hcl. 1:1 ratio. Why am I not getting the darker color that JH refers to in his book and does this mean my MMS1 is no good?

Anyway, I have a quantity of this stuff which I used to mix a batch a few days ago. It's been sitting in a dark cupboard since then and I didn't really think I'd need it. However, just now I mixed my 3 drop dose using that granulated stuff I mixed and guess what... AMBER! I mixed it according to a JH recipe where he says to mix 720 g of H2O with 280 G of Sodium Chlorite... so I divided by 10 & used 72 and 28 grams respectively. So evidently, the solution I bought on-line in a kit is too weak. In an hour or so I'll try it again but use one extra drop of HCl to see if that makes any difference. 25% increase is probably too much so I might experiment a bit. In any case, I don't want to waste the whole bottle of weak stuff so I guess the another thing to try would be to try adding a wee bit of the old 80% granules to the pre-mixed solution. What constitutes a "wee bit" is yet to be undetermined.

Previously I commented on the other thread "More yellow not amber"... and I am also in Canada? Can I know where did you buy you pre-mixed kit from? I bought it from MMS-Discovery in the USA.
Today I have got some Muriatic acid (HCL) from a Hardware store and the result is still too yellowish but more amber than before (not yet there)... Soon I should receive some flake and will make my own MMS. ... It was interesting to read you got a weak one too and you are in Canada as well.

My Muriatic acid is 31.45% ... I wanted to make a small quantity of activator so I ended up mixing
171ml of distilled water with 25ml of HCL (of 31.45%)... does that make a HCL activator at 4% ?
Thanks!

Empathic, I ordered flakes from the US "prescribed for life" I think someone recommended it on this forum. In Canada it seems like almost "mission impossible" ... I saw an article on the web of a guy who got arrested for selling MMS in Richmond, BC...

More is Not Always Better
Published on: June 9, 2026
In my books, there are times when one might need to take larger doses of MMS/CD. In Protocol 2000, for example you’ll find maximum dosage amounts. Some might take this to mean the more MMS one takes the better. But this is NOT necessarily so! More is not necessarily better, you need to listen to …
