I was a little suspicious that my purchased MMS was a little weak so I bought my own ingredients and made my own. The following photos show a 4 drop mix and a 8 drop mix after 30 seconds, I would be grateful for any comments from the experts To me it looks as my own is nearer what is required however the purchased MMS still gave off gas especially when exposed to sunlight

Thanks

Interesting, Mikey. I'm a newbie. I assume you are well familiar with the guidance in the book, but in the interest of readers, I will just contribute some relevant points from Jim's book, MMS Health Recovery Guidebook (2016).

"The amber color will fade and become light yellow in about 15 minutes". ...I assume the solution was not sitting too long?

Jim suggests that the problem may be either the MMS or the activator... If you are using an activator that also came with that purchased MMS, have you tried a different activator?

Also, he suggests trying to make it a second time.

After all that, if your solution turns only yellow, he suggests using the yellow solution only until you can obtain a properly amber solution.

Yes, I would be interested as well, if anyone has had success using solution that appears merely yellow, and not amber.

The photos were taken after 30 seconds and they both got lighter as time went on

Jim suggests that the problem may be either the MMS or the activator... If you are using an activator that also came with that purchased MMS, have you tried a different activator?

The activators I used was 4% HCL either as purchased or my own (5% reduced to 4%) as appropriate

Also, he suggests trying to make it a second time.

Not sure what you mean here My home made appeaars to me to be the correct amber colour Are you reading the phoots correctly

After all that, if your solution turns only yellow, he suggests using the yellow solution only until you can obtain a properly amber solution.

Hello. I’m also getting a yellow color. I’m using citric acid for my activator. I tried to get hcl but couldn’t find it anywhere. Do you know where in the book it discusses color?

You will find the word "amber" (in context for this discussion) on pages 5, 39-40, 123, 137, 140, etc.

If you have the book in PDF format, it is easy to quickly find any word in the book. :)
