I am more and more concerned about the quality of the 4% HCL... as I heard that also before that it release gas that I have never noticed. I can only smell the chlor (Cl, the slight bleach kind of smell) when MMS1 is being activated.
Maybe it could easily make my own 4% HCL with Muriatic Acid from an hardware store (as you suggested elsewhere on this forum) and try with it. I just wonder how I will get it to 4% (from let's say a 29% HCL), what would be the step practically, could you help me?
Concerning the photometer... would a TDS meter be of any help? Something like that one below?
www.amazon.ca/KINCREA-Accurate-Reliable-0-9990ppm-Temperature/dp/B07QCTZM9Z/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=1H3YVGRQ1R66G&keywords=tds+meter&qid=1588827673&sprefix=TDS%2Caps%2C737&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzOEtRWVRCUjdERElPJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMDczMTY2MlBFV0JZV1E5R0JCOCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwOTA3MDIyMUc0SlQ3T1gyWUpSVyZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
As always, thank you so much!
PS : I have just finished my Starting Procedure and I meant to start the Protocol 1000 from tomorrow but I think I will postpone it until I can a better MMS1.

CLO2 I found out everything on how to make 4% HCL... on Jim.H website
jimhumble.co/how-to-make-mms
. ... sorry about that.
I will try to order on pforlife.com as you mentioned elsewhere that they sell quality products.
I wonder about the TDS meter (see link above) which I bought for a different purpose, could it be useful... what do you think? Thanks!

A TDS meter only measures total dissolved solids. To measure CLO2 concentration you need a photometer such as this one:
sensafe.com/exact-ez-chlorine-plus/

abusamra, can you upload a photo so we can check the color? Also, need to know how many drops you used for the test.

Hi, it is me again.
For information, I made my own activator (HCL 4%) and my MMS using sodium chlorite from "Prescribed for Life" website... and my MMS1 is still yellow with a tint of amber... as I showed on this thread before. ... I wonder why but now I guess it must be good. I heart that using Citric Acid (the other type of activator) could be the reason why it is not a deep amber (beer bottle like).

Jeronimo, are you making a 3 drop MMS1 dose?
Take a look at this testing I did a few years ago.

CLO2, I am not sure I understand you. Do you mean 3 drops of MMS and 3 drop of activator to make MMS1?
I usually for 1 drop of each to make MMS1. Either 3 drops of each or 1 drops of each... the color is the same.
I looked at your attachment, mine looks like the picture between 2A and 2B (2B at the best), never ever had something like 5A/B. How do you explain this? Any idea? (I made sure my MSS was weighting 122gr for 100ml as well.)

A 3 drop dose of MMS1 is when 3 drops of MMS and 3 drops of 4% HCL are mixed together for 30 seconds, then added to 120 ml of water.
The amber color will be more noticeable when a 3 drop dose is made compared to a 1 drop dose.
After 30 seconds of 'activation' you should see an amber color when the drops are pooled together, such as you see in the PDF file when activation took place in narrow test tubes. If spread out over the bottom of a glass, you won't see an amber color.
