I bought my MMS from one of the Gen 2 church distributor but the 3-drop protocol with HCL never produces an amber colour - all I get is an apple-juice yellow. I read all posts relating to this but the topic wandered and I still don't know if my batch is bad or what.

I bought the test strips and they show a 100% ClO concentration but EVERY video I shh shows that dark amber colour. Also I am not getting the relief I expected after 5 weeks on P-1000 Plus or P-1000.

Is my MMS WEAK?

I have had a similar problem, more yellow than amber I did the standard protocol but did not get much reaction and virtually no taste I have now purchased some Sodium Chlorite flakes and will make my own from scratch It will be interseting to compare the two

ryzlot, can you take a picture to show us your 3 drop MMS1 color?

Just to be sure you are activating correctly, please describe your procedure.

Which test strips do you have and how are you using them? There are two versions of them available.

Also, have you had previous experience with MMS products purchased from another supplier?

Thanks!

Thanks for your questions. I mix 3 drops Part A and 3 drops of HCL 4% in a shot glass that has a detent like a test tube. Mixed drops form a bead about 3/8 in diameter. I agitate by shaking for 30 seconds. Goes yellow in 10 seconds or so - - not even dark yellow. Pix to follow. This us my first batch of MMS supplied by a church in West Canada (Calgary area) Then I get 4 OZ water, use it to rinse MMS from the shot glass, 1 oz into the glass times two rinses then back into a glass

Test strips are INSTATEST and a label says High Range Chlorine Dioxide and has colour blotches in 7 steps 0 to 500. I swish a strip into the diluted mixture for 2 seconds or more - it indicates 100 (blue)

Thanks, ryzlot for your very detailed response to my questions. Sounds like you are making MMS1 the proper way. The pictures show a little bit of amber color in the center where the water is deeper.

When you add the drops to the shot glass, try agitating only a few times and not continuously. If you look through the shot glass from the side instead of looking down into the glass, is the color darker?

What type of water are you using?

The test strip reading of 100 ppm in 120 ml of water seems high. As a reminder on using the test strips:

"Stir well to evenly distribute the ClO2 sample in the water. Take one of the test strips—taking care not to touch the pad of chemicals on the end of the strip—and dip it in the solution for two seconds. Keep the strip in one place in the solution and do not move it around during the two-second period. Without flicking any of the solution off the strip, remove the strip from the test solution with the pad facing up and wait ten seconds. Then find the matching color on the test strip container."

Test strips only give an approximate reading. By the way, in case you did not know, you can cut the strips in half length-wise to double the number of strips. :)

I have tried a quick-swirl-then-wait but still just yellow. Water comes later of course - I was buying distilled but now using high-end-filter water - tested against the distilled with strips and strips indicate the same PPM's. My pre-mms tap water reads 180 ppm with a test meter - only 114 ppm after the filter.

My issue is with the actual mms. Is there another supplier who has stock o MMS and HCL?

"My pre-mms tap water reads 180 ppm with a test meter - only 114 ppm after the filter."

I assume those numbers are TDS? If you use a ZERO water filter, the TDS reading should be, well, ZERO! I use a Berkey followed by two ZERO water filters. And, to make MMS I use homemade distilled water.

You will find links to many sellers of MMS products here: t.me/mmslinks

Thanks but my focus is on the MMS colour before adding it to the water - Is my MMS sub-standard? Jim says not to trust its potential if yellow.

Also I note that some suppliers use a 5% HCL and some use 4% - which is correct?
