Mms foot infection? was created by acefree
Hi my 5 year old's big toe is starting to swell looks like a infection under the skin. She ripped off the skin just below the swelling but it healed already for a week. Maybe some bacteria got in before it healed.

Can anyone recommend if a MMS footbath will help?

I would apply full-strength CDS (3000 ppm) and DMSO on top.

Thanks for quick reply Clo2.

I don't have any CDS or DMSO right now so I put 10 drops in about 200ml of water then put a bag over the footbath and taped around her leg so the CD won't gas out.

10 drops activated?

You can easily make CDH and get much more CLO2 gas. 50% for CDH vs 10% for MMS1.

Should I make a single dose of CDH then soak her Toe in that?
mmsinfo.org/infosheets/Single%20Dose%20CDH.pdf

Or do you mean just make CDH and apply it to the toe?

That single dose of CDH is quite low in CLO2 concentration, so it may not do much for the toe infection.

You might as well make a small batch of CDH as you will find other uses for it, I am sure. Then apply it un-diluted, but watch for any discomfort as it is not 100% CLO2 as CDS is. On a toe, you could apply it with a cotton compress, or soak a small piece of cloth and wrap it around the toe. Again, be sure there is no discomfort.

We think all the 4% HCL is gone after the overnight activation, but there should be some MMS remaining. You could start out with it diluted 10 to 1 and see how that goes. Let us know how this works and if you are successful in removing the infection.
