How long can i store CDS and CDH? do i have to store them in the fridge?

You should store CDS and CDH in a cold, dark place, such as in a fridge.

Both will tend to outgas chlorine dioxide gas (CLO2) when their temperatures are above 50 degrees F (10 C). And strong light, especially sunlight, will also cause CLO2 outgassing.

CDH will be effective for about 2 weeks for ingestion and much longer for external use.

CDS can keep a long time in a fridge.

Be sure to replace the bottle cap as soon as you finish taking out a dose, so not too much CLO2 gas will escape.

If you want to keep the materials for along time is it best to store sodium chlorite powder and HCl as themselves? How long do they last like this?

Some say that NaCLO2 flakes or powder will keep for 20 years if stored properly.

HCL seems to lose potency over time. I recently used some 4 year old muriatic acid to make CDS and the CLO2 ppm was lower than what I expected. With fresh muriatic acid, the ppm was 40% higher.

I think it would be a good idea to store some citric acid powder which can be used to make CDS.
