CDS does not have any residual MMS or acid activator which might bother you.
Start with 1 drop of your 24K ppm CDS and go up from there. Another way to reduce the amount of CLO2 from possibly bothering your throat is hold each dose of CDS (in water, of course) in your mouth for 10 or more seconds before swallowing. That way, some CLO2 will enter your bloodstream through mouth tissue.
From Protocol 115 for Viruses:
With the higher doses, you may experience some throat irritation due to high levels of chlorine dioxide (CLO2). A way to reduce the irritation is to use the Mouth-Holding-Method (MHM). The MHM is simply holding CDS or CDH in your mouth for a period of time. The author of this method, MMSforum member 'gefeu2' (Gerhard) explains how it works: "CLO2 will be administered perlingually by absorption through the oral mucosa and tongue & cheek interior surfaces. Also, sublingually under the tongue and sublingual glands."
By following the MHM, there will be less CLO2 to bother your throat when you eventually swallow the dose of CDS or CDH.

There’s no way I’m going to be able to get to these larger doses. I wonder if you could explain to me why CDS was a better choice than mms with my digestive issues. I’m wondering if I should try to take small doses of MMS, or if I should just keep trying to plug away with the CDS.

Drink from a small mouth bottle so your nose is not inside the drink container!
Hold each sip in your mouth for about 15 seconds before swallowing.
Mix one drop with about 20 fluid ounces of water, pour half of that into a small mouth bottle and ingest. That will give you a 1/2 drop dose. You can store the other half in the fridge for the next hourly dose.
The reason to use CDS over CDH or MMS1 is to eliminate two ingredients; MMS and acid activator. With CDS you only have CLO2. Did you ask the seller if he has added any MMS to this CDS?

A 1 drop dose of MMS1 contains 6.7 mg of CLO2 and will be available if fully activated in stomach acid. Most of the CLO2 is released from MMS in stomach acid.
You are very sensitive to CLO2 and probably MMS, too. By comparison, once a day I take a 10 mg dose of CLO2 in the form of CDS in about 10 fl oz of water. I also add 5 drops of DMSO and 4 drops of SweetLeaf brand steviaclear, a liquid stevia for taste. While adding CDS from a stock bottle to the water, I can smell CLO2 very slightly, so I back away and don't inhale it. With the stevia, the drink is quite tasty.
