My naturopath never heard of CLO2 but said to be aware that chlorine is a halogen so it competes for iodine in the body. Does this apply?

I also should mention I have a mild low thyroid so this is particularly of interest to me.

If you will look on page 7 in your copy of Jim Humble's latest book, MMS Health Recovery Guidebook, you will read the following:

"Although the chemical formula for chlorine is “Cl”, the chemical formula Cl is also found in the chemical formula for chlorine dioxide (ClO2), and it is also found in the chemical formula for table salt (NaCl). Chlorine dioxide is totally different from common household bleach (sodium hypochlorite, which also has Cl in its chemical formula, NaClO) which is toxic and known to be cancer causing.

Chlorine dioxide (ClO2) is not cancer causing and has an amazing ability to destroy (through oxidation) disease-causing microorganisms that may be on or in the human body, while doing no harm to the body. Because of the chemical nature of chlorine dioxide, it destroys these microorganisms in such a manner that it is also destroyed at the same time, leaving behind only a few grains of plain table salt, discharged oxygen atoms, and dead microorganisms, which the body can easily wash out of the system."

Therefore, we are not using chlorine, rather chlorine dioxide.

all give different benefits to our body and is acting differently, but all is useful and you can use them. of course iodide (triiodide) is element and most people is needed at least three months
to take continuosly so that to refill their storage in Iodine and Probably is Your Best Weapon Against Thyroid Problems.
