jeffers Topic Author Offline Platinum Member Posts: 369 Thank you received: 199	i have bought mms and 4% hyd and when i mix the drops it goes a dirty brown color and then a yellowy color. before i have always used citric as activator and it went yellowy amber color, so i am a bit concerned as to whether its ok and havent used it yet. has anyone else had this happen. thanks for any advice

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
