I would like to start my husband on a protocol but I have read that the DSMO could cause problems with him being on blood thinner medication and could cause depletion of electrolytes in which he has heart issues and that would not be a good thing. The protocol recommended the DSMO for him. Any info would be greatly appreciated. He is also a diabetic.

I don't recall hearing about DMSO causing problems when someone is taking blood thinners or causing depletion of electrolytes. Do you have a link(s) where I can read about it?

It is not necessary to use DMSO with MMS protocols, so if this is a concern, then don't use DMSO.

Which protocol are you planning to use? If your husband has not taken MMS recently or ever, he should begin by following the Starting Procedure.

The protocol 1000 with the DSMO is what was recommended. The web link on the blood thinner is livestrong.com
He will also be under going kryphoplasty surgery within the next couple of weeks. Should he wait to start the mms until after the surgery?

LiveStrong has many links to DMSO. I don't have time to read them all. DMSO is very safe and the amounts used in Protocol 1000 Plus are just a few drops. I have ingested as much as one tablespoon with no problems. The quality of DMSO can determine the taste and body odor. There is one sold on Amazon that is very good. Actually DMSO is recommended for someone who is having a stroke or heart attack. Those protocols are in Jim's latest book.

I presume you are following the Health Recovery Plan as outlined in Jim Humble's latest book. I see no reason not to start now and then pause on surgery day.
