How do I calculate to get the percent- 28%/ 50 % as recommended by Jim Humble. they stuff in powdered. I will appreciate any guidance. Thanks Steve

CLO2 Offline Platinum Member Posts: 5396 Thank you received: 4261	Steve, we need to know exactly what is available at the chemical store. Is the "MMS" a sodium chlorite solution or sodium chlorite powder/flakes? Citric acid is usually in crystal form, but I have never heard of 98% citric acid.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
