I have a basal cell carcinoma on my cheek and am starting to apply the MMS skin solution every night. I would like to add DMSO to the regimen but my daughter gets sick from the smell. Now I read about Pharma grade dmso, which s supposed to be odorless. Can I use that?

Of course you can use Pharma Grade DMSO, the most pure DMSO!

I bought Pharma Grade DMSO at Amazon. I do not notice any odor and have ingested 1 teaspoon (5 ml) in some water.

I am just wondering why it has never been mentioned in any posts that I have seen as it would take care of the garlic smell which prevents many people from using DMSO. You said you have ingested it and have not noticed any odor. But it is not the person who takes the DMSO but others who do.

I would like to clarify my question one more time.:
I cannot use the DMSO I have now because my family abhors the smell. It is listed on the bottle as “pharmasolvent grade 99.99% pure”.
Many companies (including Amazon) now sell an “odorless pharma grade 99.995%” DMSO. (The smell supposedly is due to industrial versus pharma grade.) Is there a difference between pharmasolvent grade and pharma grade?
If there really is a DMSO product on the market that does not cause any smell, why would there be any issues with such a side effect.
Thank you very much.

You did not notice the odor that bothered your daughter?

It would be very interesting if you would buy and use Pharma Grade DMSO and see if your daughter can smell anything. If not, then it might be the impurities in the DMSO you are currently using causing an odor. Please let us know the results of this test! Thanks.

Found this:

DMSO is metabolized by disproportionation to dimethyl sulfide and dimethyl sulfone. It is subject to renal and pulmonary excretion. A possible side effect of DMSO is therefore elevated blood dimethyl sulfide, which may cause a blood borne halitosis symptom.
