How To Dispose of Dry Powder Sodium Chlorite Safely

I tried again to make it, but it just turned into crystals again. I made it in glass and no metal touched it when stirring, etc.
And I am having a difficult time to purchase the powder form again. I need both chlorite and citric acid powders.
I am trying to find a Canadian supplier. I tried the supplier in Naramata, BC, but they only sell it in premixed solution form.
I will keep trying. to find someone.
Thanks, Dora

I have mine in a refrigerator for some years and the last bacth worked ok
to return again to salt? this is very strange... how many time need to precipitate again? in the moment? hours? days? I think, first is dissolved, right? and after dissolved precipitate again in dust?
you can buy flakes in many places, I buy from this and is a lot far from my home, the shipping cost sometimes is lower than in my area.
you can ask this in this board but again this is very strange because a salt is a salt and salt dissolve in water. My bacths after WEEKS precipitate some dust but no more.
check in your area sellers of chem products and labware.
to dispose first you need to know what the hell is this powder, Perhaps the pot is not well closed and a strong oxidation or mutation with humidity, odors... started...
good luck!

Everything is the same as when I made it in a metal container. Except this time, everything was done in glass wit a plastic stirrer.
See my previous post on how I did it.
I used warm water, approx 120F.
When it didn't work, and to try to melt the crystals and dilute it, I used very hot water, and it worked by melting everything.
Now, all I want to do is dump it ! ! !
I don't have very much left of 28% sodium chlorite powder to try any more experiments, But I will save the last of the Citric Acid.
I have decided to buy the solution from Subtle Energy Therapy in Chehalis, WA, US.
I need to find out if they sell them in powder form.
It is really hard to find what one seeks, especially when it is outlawed by government.
Thanks for your help.
Will let you know how my husband responds to the MMS. I just wish I could make the stuff so it doesn't smell so bad. But we will overcome.
Best Regards, Dora

I tried to make the 28% Sodium Chlorite Solution, but it didn't work. It crystallized.
I went according to the instructions I received several years ago when I first bought the ingredients, & it worked then, but not now.
Maybe it is because I tried to make a small amount this time. The instructions that I followed are:
6 level tablespoons Sodium Chlorite (measured with baking measuring spoons)
3 ounces of warm water
I left it in the stainless steel pot that I mixed it in overnight. Had covered it & left it in the dark cupboard.
That was supposed to make 4 ounces of 28% MMS.
Next morning when I looked at it, most of it had crystallized.
I don't know what went wrong. Unless the instructions are wrong & there was too much S.C. added to a small amount of water
and it returned to a crystallized form.
When I mixed it, it had dissolved completely. But there was a very little amount of sediment at the bottom, which the instructions said
would be normal. As well it had a green & clear appearance. Again which was supposed to be normal.
Any help would be appreciated to help me solve this dilema.
PS: I need to make some fresh Citric Acid solution. I will try the people I got it from last time, but when I tried their website, it was no longer working. So I don't think their email would work either as it is linked directly to their website.
Would anyone know who in BC or Alberta, Canada sells the ingredients mentioned above?
Thanks a lot....Dora

If you have not seen this method of making MMS from powder or flakes, I suggest you try it the next time you make MMS. Also check out my YT video on making MMS.
If the smell of CLO2 is a problem, then use unactivated MMS. That was the method that Jim first used when he discovered that MMS will kill the malaria parasite. He used stabilized oxygen which contained 3.5% unactivated sodium chlorite solution, a weak form of MMS.
I think the reason your MMS did not dissolve into the distilled water solution is because you did not stir it often enough. You can't add SC powder or flakes to water and not stir it. It must be warmed up a bit and stirred often. You can put the container with the SC solution into another container holding hot water. The heat will transfer from the hot water to the container with the SC solution that you stir often.

when at room temp again the excessive salt now water can't sustain and precipitates.. check the metal pot if not corroded or something like this the problem is hot water. I don't know how this seller say so much nonsense... hot water? I never use hot water, tablespoons? unless the seller attach the spoon to the SC flakes this is a bit crazy, inclusive with a plastic spoon supplied by the seller.
I recommend to buy a good scale, I purchased from Canada one of low range (300 gr) and great accuracy (0,001mg) and I'm very happy by the price I pay :(under 300 €
now this guys are in usa!!
acculab.balances.com/
check the "Solubility in water" in the right table.

I have been using this scale for a few years and find it works very well. Here is another that has higher Amazon ratings that may be a better choice. It would be a good idea to also buy the correct calibration weights which may cost more than the scale!

My scale come with a calibration weight, so more points for me
the scales you use are for letters or food, and not lab uses. SC is not a letter or you are making food.
the accuracy of this cheap scales is variable and u need to see how work to realize that it is not a good option.
many people come here asking for accuracy in their SC drops, others with complaints about effectiveness of different batch of SC... so people need a minimum of standard in SC, activators... or you are running blind. and with this type of scale you are running blind.
maybe if the Church ask the producers ready to use SC, activators... how weight is measured, what water use... all to get a standard product I think find some people with critical errors, here is one,The origin of this thread is one.
so in the end if you not need a scale for nothing more than SC for what all this headaches buying SC flakes, a scale, the problem of storage, manipulation security and preparation, to buy the bottles for storage and use...
buy SC ready to use from an "approved seller" if this exist, if is only for you and avoid a lot of problems.
I can't produce papaya enzymes, because at this moment I not check how to produce it, so I buy a brand check how to work, and when the pot is ended I buy another brand and so on until a find the best for me..

Pneumatician, whenever I check the accuracy of this scale with calibration weights, and another more sensitive scale also made by AWS, it is right on. So, accuracy is not a problem. These cheap scales are not built rugged for lab use, but for our occasional use, they work fine....the accuracy of this cheap scales is variable...
