How to dose baby chicks with MMS

Our poultry arrived yesterday from Purely Poultry (I do NOT recommend getting poultry through them) The day old chicks arrived VACCINATED for Marek's disease despite the fact that I ordered Unvaccinated chicks. Can anyone please help me figure out how to dose them with MMS? Thanks! (Hope to hear from someone soon. One of the little birds is doing poorly... )

In Jim's newest book there is a 16 page chapter on treating animals. Dosing is based on animal weight starting at one pound. A chick is much less than one pound! Try one drop of unactivated MMS stirred into their non-metallic water dish.

Good reminder about not using a metal container! And I would not have known not to activate the MMS, so thanks!

Let us know if that helps. It is not uncommon to lose a chick or two at that young age.

Will do CL02! They all seem to be doing ok so far except for two "pastey-butts"... I used my little hand-held vortex generator 6X on a quart of filtered water, then I added 1/2 drop of unactivated MMS. These little birds are running around like crazy! They remind me of popcorn popping! so cute... We have 26 chicks, 8 ducklings and one guardian gosling who, when grown, will be helpful in alerting us all to arial predators. I was excited to see them all drinking the MMS water. I'll let you know how they all do. Thanks again!
