rhiardrouillard Topic Author Offline New Member Posts: 14 Thank you received: 9	I finally received my 99% DMSO and when I opened the bottle, the neck of the bottle was full of crystals. Shouldn't these be dissolved already? I can hear liquid in the bottle, should I strain it? I thought this was going to be all liquidy so I'm confused.

Now I have it closer to the heat so hopefully they will melt. It came UPS so I guess the trucks are cold. What about the citric acid? I just heard today that it should be refrigerated but I haven't been and now I'm concerned.

CLO2 Offline Administrator Posts: 5562 Thank you received: 4393	Recently I ordered a bottle of DMSO and it took a whole day to thaw out at room temp. I live in a cold climate. When I used to use citric acid for activator, I never kept it in a fridge. I guess you could do that, but warm it up before using it because being cold will slow down activation.
