My husband has high blood pressure and atrial fibrillation and is taking medication for both these conditions. He is also having prostate issues in that he has trouble passing urine. I read that the calcium hypochlorite would assist the prostate problem, but one health professional suggested that it would interfere with his heart medications because it may lower his blood pressure. Can you give me any information regarding the validity of this statement? Thank you.

Until doctors are paid a set salary you won't get good info from them.

I have a heart condition, mitral valve prolapse, I take MMS2, started in 2013, never took more than a couple a day.... but my blood pressure has been steady in the 120/70 range.

Why don't you buy one of those little blood pressure machines that you can get at a drug store? Or many drug stores have blood pressure machines that you sit in and it reads your pressure. But I really do not feel it will be any problem.

Thanks Dawna. In order to deal with the prostate problem he needs, ideally, to take MMS2 every 2 hours x 5 per day. So we have decided he will try 3 doses per day and take his blood pressure at the beginning and the end of each day (we do have a machine). If all is well, he can increase the doses slowly. Thanks again for your advice. Patricia

Your husband has BPH now, enlarged prostate. As my husband has prostate cancer I've spent the last years reading all that I can on the topic.... I feel that BPH later turns to prostate cancer, so taking MMS2 now will help in the long run... maybe prevent it!

No one knows how many capsules to take for sure. But, my experience is.... I had a cyst in my liver, the size of a grapefruit, all doctors and articles said a cyst will never go away or even shrink, it has to be removed surgically.... I took only one capsule per day for three months, and it was down to pea size, I continued taking one sporadically and now it is completely gone. However.... I believe if I were to quit taking them altogether it would most likely come back.

I also believe this true for cancer, just like in the case of Dennis Hall who cured himself of prostate cancer using marijuana, he died just this year, he had quit taking marijuana (he took oil - it is so repulsive that someone would have to be really tough to take it forever!) a year or so ago.

So, I guess I am saying - I don't think he needs 5 capsules a day, two would probably work fine, and it's wonderful that he will be able to monitor if it is working just by going to the bathroom! But.... if I was his wife I would advise him to never quit, take one a day (before bedtime), even if the swollen prostate doesn't reduce. A swollen gland is not abnormal tissue so I have my doubts that MMS will work, but maybe by chasing away cancer it will reduce the size. Hopefully.

I feel that everyone who turns 50 should take one a day the rest of his life.

Please let us know how it is going. Good luck.

And remember.... to only take it on an empty stomach, and don't eat for at least 30 minutes and take with distilled water or a pure juice such as Martinelli's apple juice, never a juice with anything added especially ascorbic acid.

He has trouble taking it on a empty stomach.....not sure if it actually gives him pain or it's just burping up the chlorine smell. He's out, but I will ask him. Yes, very aware of ascorbic acid etc. I have been using MMS for 12 years...has saved my bacon many times!!
He's taking 3 doses per day....but only a quarter of a capsule. And we will keep an eye on his blood pressure.
Thanks.
