I went to Cure Zone and couldn't believe what I was reading.... people had said that they should take the MMS straight, without activating it with citric acid or HCl. Then a guy said he had lost two teeth due to MMS and all the enamel on his other teeth is almost gone... he is in pain all the time. I noticed he said he doesn't use citric acid or anything, he uses MMS straight...... Like it would be pure or stronger.... there was so much bad info out there I just felt I didn't have the strength to jump in on all the threads. I did try to correct the situation on 2 threads. But, if others could help, I'll bet this is common on all the other health sites. No one explains the chemical reaction to make chlorine dioxide... that it's chlorine dioxide not sodium chlorite that cures. People don't understand chemistry. Heck I'm just a novice and I took Jim's class.

Seems to me that all the sellers need to also include a bottle of HCl and real good instructions and warnings about using it without mixing. I make mine from scratch and I think those of us who make it understand it better.... just buying a ready made bottle might make people lazy.

Sure wish I'd get notified when someone responds to my threads or posts......

Jim's original discovery of MMS was when he gave Stabilized Oxygen to malaria sufferers and they got well. They drank unactivated 3.5% MMS and apparently stomach acid activated the MMS.

These charts will tell you that MMS1 is at most 10% activated when ingested, so you're drinking mostly unactivated MMS. Note that 3 drops of MMS should contain up to 20.1 mg of CLO2. Compare that number to what you see on the bottom chart.

There are some people today ingesting small amounts of MMS in water without adding any activator. If you have adequate stomach acid, that probably works. However, there may be other reaction products we are not aware of when MMS1 is "activated" as we now make it. Lots we don't know.

The other day I was reading and watching videos about Turpentine therapy (must be pure natural turpentine, not the synthetic version) and in every article and videos they emphasize and reemphasize to start with 1/4 teaspoon and not go beyond the tablespoon. There was even a video of a guy demonstrating how to dose it and he did say a few times "don't be stupid, don't drink the thing out of the can; dose it). Well, a brilliant mind drank a glass; had to be rushed to the hospital.
It's cases like these that give the opposite clan the opportunity to "prove" and advertise everywhere that the product is a poison.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
