What is the other option for activating my 28% sodium chlorite that is more palatable to drink?

In Jim's latest book, you will find that he now recommends 4% HCL over 50% citric acid. Taste is one reason and the other is that some people have a negative reaction to citric acid.

I personally like to use fresh lemon juice over 50% citric acid or 4%HCL.

Though the HCL doesn't have a strong taste, it can get a bit harsh on the throat, so you may need to wash it down with water right after.

Adding a bit of honey to the dose will help the taste, or even using capsules.

Sorry Rev, but based on the testing that Charlotte did, lemon juice is not only an extremely poor activator but it also neutralizes some of the little CLO2 that it creates.

Regarding the HCl being, "a bit harsh on the throat", that may be so if you only activate for 30 seconds or less since that doesn't really give hardly any time for the activation to occur and therefore not only is the sodium chlorite less than 10% activated but also there would be some HCl that wasn't given enough time to do its activation job. This is why I believe CDH made with 4% HCl is so much better. All of the HCl is used up in the activation process and the sodium chlorite is just about 50% activated. With CDH if you feel throat burn it's because of the strength of the CLO2, not the acid, and the way to counter the burning is to use less CDH per dose or add more water to each dose to dilute it more.

By the way, I think adding honey also neutralizes the CLO2 somewhat, but CLO2 is the expert on that and perhaps will chime in on the facts regarding it.

Hope that clarifies some things.

Take care,
Scott

- I did a CDH injection / Chlorine Dioxide (CLO2) injection / IV push of 10ml of dilute 50ppm CDH / CLO2 into my blood 3 times in 11 hours & did before & after blood tests that showed that it did NO HARM to my blood, liver or kidneys. This suggests the possibility that CDH / CLO2 is a potential LIFESAVING MRSA cure, VRE cure, CRE cure, AMR cure, Ebola cure, HIV cure, Cancer cure, etc., since it appears to be safe intravenously at 50ppm.

- Every ml of CDH contains 1 drop of MMS, so 1 drop of MMS = 1ml of CDH
- MMS is 7 to 10% activated in 30 seconds while CDH made with 4% HCl is about 50% activated in the bottle. This is why CDH is far less nauseating than MMS drops

Jim has said that lemon juice or even vinegar worked to allow MMS to very effective when he was in Africa some years ago. I am sure he is correct, but the reason MMS worked was not because it was " activated " with lemon juice or vinegar, but rather the person who was helped had lots of stomach acid to activate MMS.

That was also the reason behind his initial discovery that sodium chlorite cured malaria - stomach acid activated the 3.5% MMS in stabilized oxygen he had with him, releasing a small amount of CLO2. The person was ingesting unactivated MMS.

In testing various sweeteners for Scott when we were working on CDH, the more highly processed the sugar, the less it reduced CLO2. Plain, processed white sugar reduced CLO2 the least. Honey reduced CLO2 a lot. Probably because it contains lots of antioxidants.

Scott, good point about some remaining MMS activator, 4% HCL or 50% citric acid, possibly causing mouth/throat irritation when using MMS1. There is none of that remaining in CDH, and of course CDS doesn't have any because it is 100% CLO2 in distilled water. The downfall of CDS for ingestion use is at high doses CLO2 can irritate mouth and throat. Seems like CDH might be the best SCS for ingestion? :cheer:

Also, thinking more about what you said, CDH is very similar to so-called "stabilized" CDS. Both contain CLO2 and some unactivated MMS, but no acid activator.
