Im confused
In one place it stresses that if i am new to taking MMS that i should dilute 1 drop with 5 drops of activator. Then in another place it tells me to dilute 1 drop MMS with 1 drop of activator. Which is the correct and safest one?

No, the confusion comes from the nature of the activator: it is a 1/1 ratio if your activator is 50% citric acid or 4% HCl (and you have to wait 30 s for the reaction to take place).
But if you use common lemon juice, the ratio rises to 5/1 since the citric acid concentration is lower (and you also have to wait longer).
Most of the time MMS is sold with 50% citric or 4% HCl as an activator, so the 1/1 ratio applies.

Both alternatives are safe as long as you use the correct activator, but the most satisfactory (taste-wise) is to use a 4% HCl activator.

Also, citric acid causes upset stomach in some people. The G2C now recommends 4% HCL. It can be used to make MMS1, CDS (3000 ppm) and CDH so one only needs to buy 4% HCL as the activator of choice. 5% and 10% HCL are no longer needed nor is 50% citric acid.
