Since mid August '15, I am on protocol 2000 for Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma stage 1. I don't have any of the usual treatments like chemo or radiation, but a healthy nutrition, on the alkaline side as much as possible & I do few other naturopatic techniques.
Every so often I get really bad belly cramps when I reach the protocol's doses No 5/6/7. I have a sense that I can't stomach the citric acid activator. I eat food away from MMS1 & MMS2 but I often need to leave a longer gap between MMS1 & food than the recommended 30 min. before I can continue with the protocol. I also wonder if raw food is difficult to digest? I often have a salad for lunch and sometimes it feels ok but other times it can really aggravate my stomach. Could it be the fresh lemon juice I use in the salad dressing?
Any suggestion?
I am on 3 occasionally 4 drops MMS1 hourly (10 hrs a day) & 1/2 capsule of MMS2 5x a day, spread over the 10 hrs.
I don't seem to be able to get it any higher with the MMS1 or 2 without starting to feel nausea.

Hello Nuro,

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your courage.

Now to your questions. If the belly cramps are caused by the MMS2 than drink more water.
In stead of using citric acid, please switch to using hydrochloric acid 4 or 5% as activator.
Don't eat raw food if it doesn't agree with you. I haven't had a salad for years for the same reason. There are possibly more nutrients left in raw food but our body cannot absorb them as easy as when the foods are cooked.
If you are fine on 3 dr per hour but not on 4dr per hour, then be nice to yourself and do what makes you feel better.

My best wishes for a superb recovery.

Hello Marianne,
I just got 5% hydrochloric acid today and want to use it as suggested instead of the citric acid.
How to go about? how many drops to the MMS?
When I've experienced the belly cramps I used 1 drop of 50% citric acid to one drop MMS.
I am keen to carry on with the program but for the last two days I needed to stop because each time I tried to take the activated MMS1 I got this grumbling, crampy ache to various degrees.

Thank for your time :)

For the last two weeks I have been using HCL as an activator. As suggested here I started very slowly with the preparation programm. In between I went away for a long weekend, so things didn't go totally to plan but I stayed with the MM1 & MMS2 all the time :) .
For the last couple of days I am almost at the same amount of MMS 1&2 but this time with the HCL.
The change I am observing:
• No belly cramps so far • in the morning I can tolerate 3 drops MMS1 & 1/3 capsule of MMS2 • as the day goes on I need to reduce the doses to 1/2 or even 1/4 of a dose of MMS1 & I also reduce the dose of MMS2 to 1/4 of a capsule or even less •
I feel I am fine tuning & understanding better how everything works, ... how far to go and when to reduce the dose.
Sometimes I have strange sensations, like an onset of a cold (a bit of a sore throat & a bit achy in my glands) but then I drink more water and it seems to go away after 10 min. Water really seems to be the key when I start feeling nausea.
It's all very interesting, I feel like a walking lab :silly:
