Hello

I have been using MMS with out any issues however I thought I would run some of my own basic tests.

Test one, i dropped a few activated but undiluted drops onto black cotton material and it bleached it.

Next I dropeed a few activated, undiluted drops onto some chicken meat and it seems to eat away at the skin, the meat went a lot darker over all but the areas that it had initial contact with went white. It didnt look healthy.

I was wondering if someone can please shed some light on this? I dont know much about the science/chemistry behind MMS and Im not science minded, so please keep the explanation simple. I thought that maybe it changes upon enerting the body, for example lemons are very acidic but for us to consume they are an alkaline food.

Im concerned about the effects the MMS had on the chicken and cloth, I know it is promoted as a 'safe' bleach, but what does that mean? It that based on the size of the dose? Or how the body reacts to it?

Can anyone please share their wisdom and facts here.

Many thanks

You are testing when MMS is activated - full strength - there is no protocol that indicates that it should be ingested in that concentration. Add the suggested amount of water (at least 120mls) to your activated drops - like 3 - then retest. Anything can be made to be harmful with quantity or concentration .

I have been taking (ingesting) mms for 7 years - the bleach effect that is put out there as dis-info - has not cut in - only health benefits. But hey - follow your own discernment !

Hi Bettson.

Your forum post title is not correct as you used almost no chlorine dioxide in your testing, rather you used mostly sodium chlorite and an acid.

Yes, undiluted sodium chlorite will remove/bleach (chemicals which remove color, whiten or disinfect, often by oxidation) the black color.

Next I dropped a few activated, undiluted drops onto some chicken meat and it seems to eat away at the skin, the meat went a lot darker over all but the areas that it had initial contact with went white. It didnt look healthy.

When you say MMS is activated I will assume that you used MMS (22.4% sodium chlorite solution) and mixed it with probably 50% citric acid for 20 to 30 seconds. Normally you would then add some water, about half a cup of water which will dilute the MMS and stop the activation and then would have MMS1.

But I don't think you did that, so the activation would continue. Normally at 20-30 seconds of "activation" time, most of the MMS is not activated; about 90% is not activated. Since you did not add water (not how we normally use MMS) you applied mostly sodium chlorite to your test items.

Since your testing is not how we use MMS, you can discount your test results. After all, millions of people worldwide have used MMS for about 15 years with zero fatalities and with lots of healing happening!

A better test might be for you to use CDS which is 100% activated MMS resulting in only chlorine dioxide, the chemical we are after when making MMS1. When you use MMS1, we rely on our stomach acid to activate the remaining 90% of the unactivated sodium chlorite which then releases most of the chlorine dioxide that was in the original sodium chlorite.

Thank you very much for your explanation. You may notice a similar post come up again as I hadn't realised this post has actually worked until after I re-posted.

In response to the above, at the time of testing I also did a test of diluted MMS about 30ml water to 10 drops (so still quite potent) and it didnt have nearly as much effect on the chicken

I hadnt realised that water was part of the chemical process and has just thought of it to dilute the solution so it wasn't as harsh. Before starting the protocol I had read following under 'read this first' on Jim Humbles website:

"1. Drink it. Swallow activated MMS with any amount of water or juice flavoring added. This is the most common method. Adding water or limited juice to the mix after the three minute wait enables you to drink the mixture. The amount of water matters very little provided that you drink it all - typically one half to a full glass of water. If you drink the entire amount you will get all of the MMS benefit. Diluted little or much it will still do the same cleansing within in your body. "

Because of the taste i found it easier to drink the MMS (2-3 drops) diluted only with 50ml water. To get it down like a shot. Most of the time I would chase this with a few more mouthfuls of water. Sometimes I didn't though. Does this mean I haven't been activating the MMS properly before ingesting it (to activate the other 90% per your response)?

Also, would testing CDS really be a better test, as my concern after the chicken test, was 'what might this be doing to my stomach lining?' and from what I now understand its MMS1, 10% activated that will hit my stomach?

Thank you for helping me understand this process better and also realise I still have A LOT to learn! :)

Hi Bettson.

That online "read this first" document is very old and needs to be updated. When it was written, 10% citric acid was used and later 50% citric was the activator for MMS. 10% citric acid needed 3 minutes to "activate" and the mix was 1 part MMS to 5 parts 10% citric acid. 50% citric acid mix is 1 to 1 and 30 seconds activation time.

You mention bad taste which is probably caused by citric acid. If you use 4% HCL activator instead, you will probably not taste anything. Also, some people have a problem ingesting citric acid. The mix is the same as 50% citric acid; 1:1.

The rest of the activation will happen in a stomach with normal gastric acids, which most people have.

"Also, would testing CDS really be a better test, as my concern after the chicken test, was 'what might this be doing to my stomach lining?' and from what I now understand its MMS1, 10% activated that will hit my stomach?"

Testing with CDS will show what effect chlorine dioxide (CLO2) only might have on your test items. Using MMS1 for testing will contain some CLO2 plus unactivated MMS and some activator acid.

Again, millions of people have used MMS for over 15 years and no one that I know of has had problems with their stomach lining, and of course, no deaths.
