Hi I would like to know is sweeten CDS with xylitol doesn't affect the CDS, I want to give a 13 month old baby CDS.

Zoyus, I am not aware of any testing showing xylitol reducing CLO2. You could make a simple test to find out if the xylitol you have is a problem.

Using two identical, small, tall glass containers, put some distilled water in each filling them perhaps 2/3 full. Then add enough CDS to each container (the same amount to each container) so you can see the color of CLO2. Then add the appropriate amount (to taste) of xylitol to one of the containers and mix well. If the color of the container with added xylitol becomes lighter over time, then xylitol is reducing the CLO2 content of CDS.
