Every now and again I am sending a client in Belgium 3 x 100 ml MMS (NaClo2 + HCL 4%) in brown glass bottles. Recently this client has complained about both the MMS and the Activator losing strength when used half way. On my request she sent 2 set back. They were all half empty. I tested them all with each other and with my own mms. From the tests I learned that one of the returned bottles (Activator) was ok. The other 3 didn't do anything anymore, either way. I have never experienced or heared about this problem before. It seems to me that the products have been dilluted such that they no longer react. I know MMS deteriorates when open to sunlight. But the client swears bottles are securedly locked after use and locked away in a cool, dark place. Anyone has an explanation? I'd be grateful with some feedback. Greets, Steven.

I have never had properly stored MMS or activator lose potency even after months of storage.
I find it strange that she had several bottles opened at the same time - rather than use one at a time. A possibility is that caps from either is being put onto the opposite product - the contamination could reduce strength.

Martin (fourfingerz) has made a good point about cross-contamination.

How about sending her just one set of MMS/4% HCL and see how long they work. Either label the caps as well as the bottles or send different type bottles so the caps can't be interchanged. It is also possible that she is using the same syringe, if that is how she is pulling out the solutions, without rinsing it of the first solution.

Let us know how long a new single set of MMS/4% HCL works.

Thanks, Steven.
