I have a couple teeth that have lost enamel at the top because of gum recession, and have the very beginnings of decay. I believe I've gotten the gum recession to stop, but I'd like to stop the tooth decay.

My doctor told me if I can kill the bacteria in the teeth and keep it from any further decay, I could get away with not having them filled because the cavities are still very minor. Can I do this with MMS or CDS? How should I apply it?

I've had bad reactions to DMSO in the past so can I do this without it?

I have not heard of that, but someone may have done so. Did you search the forum?

I would think if a cavity has formed, the protective enamel is gone where the the cavity is located and it will be difficult to stop any new bacteria from taking up residence even if you kill the current resident.

It may be possible if you continually use a sodium chlorite solution. Here is a two-part tooth protocol you could try.

My SCS choice for brushing would be CDS.

Hello AngieLynn,

I have used CDH solution for brushing teeth, as does Scott, the truth quester who has developed and taught us how to use the cdh. I did use DMSO for a bit as Jim says that it would take the MMS deeper into the tooth. But as I have amalgam (mercury) fillings I have stopped doing this. I brush my teeth with bar soap as that kills the bacteria without damaging the enamel. My teeth are fine although cavities are present, so what. If I use toothpaste my teeth hurt but using barsoap they are fine. Occasionally I rinse with CDH, or brush them I hope this helps.!!!

Thanks everyone! I did search the forum and didn't find anything answering my exact questions.

Horsefeathers, have you seen your teeth remineralize? Did you have any decay?

I think MMS is stronger than CDS or CDH, if I'm not mistaken, but the MMS is very acidic, so I'm concerned about damaging the tooth if I use it frequently. I have some CDS - would that kill bacteria and would it penetrate into the tooth? Or should I stick with MMS or CDH?

My dentist doesn't think you can remineralize at the top of the tooth with how much has come off, but I'm going to give it a few months.

angieLynn, you will find information comparing MMS1, CDS and CDH at mmsinfo.org/.

If you want to kill pathogens, it seems that chlorine dioxide (CLO2) is the active part of those three sodium chlorite solutions (SCS).

Recall that externally (outside the stomach) MMS1 is about 7% activated, CDH is 50% activated and CDS is 100% activated. Those numbers are an indication of the amount of CLO2 produced by the SCSs externally. Since your teeth are quite a distance from your stomach, there won't be any further activation (CLO2 generation) of MMS1 or CDH in your mouth.

Using MMS1 or CDH will leave some sodium chlorite, acid activator, CLO2 and whatever other byproducts created by them, sloshing around in your mouth. CDS will only be CLO2 in distilled water.

Well..yes but, I have dilly dallied quite a bit. I have a tooth with a cavity on one side from the gum line down. I used the toothpaste formula minus coconut oil and it is now about 1/3 healed. It would probably have done much better quicker if I had been more consistent with it. I only brush once a day and should brush more often. Lately I have added 2 ounce Living Clay at night before bedtime. We'll see how that does. There has been no change in my diet. The usual SAD American Diet. This has been going on for over a year now.
