A friend had a problem of a runny nose every time he went outside and used coconut oil in his nose to prevent the allergies from the plant life to cause his problems. It worked. I decided to do that to stop the dryness in my nose. I also have a inner ear problem which I take cold and sinus pills for all the time. This year I was taking it just about everyday. If I didn't I would have a lot of nausea from my inner ear problem. I have done this for 2 weeks now. I have only taken cold and sinus pills 2 times. The pressure in my middle ear problem at this time is about 90 percent less. The nausea problems have just about disappeared. A lot better than taking the cold and sinus pills which made me sick most of the time. Hope this can help someone.

Kahlon, would you tell us exactly how to use coconut oil for your ailment? Which coconut oil do you use and how much, how often, etc. Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks.

I use Organic coconut oil. The brand name is Carrington Farm from Costco. I use the smallest amount in both nostrils because I use it before I go to bed and didnt want it spilling over onto the pillow cases. I used it every night for first week. The next week about 5 nights. I am on third week now. I used it 3 times. My sister started also and said she could breath much better. I noticed that the first few days I had pain and itchiness around the ears but that doesn't happen anymore. Also I notice my oxygen level is at 98 most of the time now. I had this problem for many years. And I don't understand in the first week I spit up a lot of flem. So I imagine it was cleaning out my lungs also?? or a coincidence?

I have. One advised over the counter medicine and 2 advised steroid nasal spray. I have used over the counter medicine which makes me sick and I don't agree with using steroids. I have had this problem for many years. Used tons of gravol to take away the sickness of over the counter medicines. The last couple of weeks have been very nice. It is like being free. Coconut oil is anti bacterial and anti viral. Maybe that is what the oil cleared up for me.
