Taste buds out of wack

Why, after one day of protocot 1000, when I eat my food, it tastes very bad, some foods taste normale but others now have an altered taste. Has this happened to you?

Last night I eat a steak with some tomatoes and some small potatoes. The steak tasted fine but the tomatoes & potatoes tasted very sour even though other members of my family said they tasted ok.
