I've had a bothersome sinus infection for years now. Can CD be put in a neti pot and rinse out sinuses? There's salt involved so I'm wondering if that will deactivate the CD. Edy

pam Offline Platinum Boarder Posts: 4593 Thank you received: 3703	Edy, sometimes there's a confusion - here we call CD (Chlorine Dioxide) MMS, just so you are not confused as you go through the posts. MMS is dosed in drops, with the amount determined by the activator. CDS and CDH are dosed in mL.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
