SPAM???

I received a message by email stating that I had received a private message from Jonathan Wilton
It seemed the forum writing so I opened it and now I'm worried it was a spam as when I opened it I got an advertising page. I quickly closed it and now have received writing from a fake bank as well as another private message frpm jonathan Wilton. I think I got hacked , somebody going through the forum to do this????

I have not received this,. Mariann, but I guess it's possible. Email addresses are totally hidden on this group - I don't think anyone hacked the database - however, a friend of yours could have been hacked and they got to your address that way - or you could have been. I'm sure if anyone else has experienced this, they'll let us know, though.

Our private message feature has been closed for over a month, so if you receive anything saying you've got a message from there, you've got a scammer/spammer.
