mxing SC with water and CA with water was created by chileno
I finally got to mix the dried SC and CA and mixed as follows:

72 grams of water and 28 grams of SC

100 grams of water and 100 grams of CA

Those are the correct proportions, right?

I made the mistake of spooning out the SC with a metal spoon, I realized of that and I changed the spoon to a plastic one and then mixed it with water using the plastic one to dissolve the SC in the water.

No harm, right?

Thank you in advance.

It's not by volume it's by weight. If you are using weight grams, this looks right to me. I just do mine with a scale.

Everything look good to me. Be sure to use Hot water so the salt dissolve fast. You don't said nothing about the quality of your water so am assuming you are using Distilled water. If the SC solution is light clear yellow is ok, but if the solution is yellow or dark is not good.

Thank you both.

Yes those are grams by weight. I heated the water for 15 seconds in a microwave and the water is filtered. The SC solution was clear, not even yellowish.

Thanks again.

In the future, use only distilled water, that will guaranty that the SC will not react with any heavy metal or other material dissolve in the water. Also is the only state of the water that the density is equal to 1 gr/ml at 25 centigrade and all the property of the water to be in solution are in the optimum values.
