It is another cheap and old remedy like MMS/CDS but seems to be very effective against flu type symptoms and was said to protect people from the plague, which is the origin of the saying "born with a silver spoon is one's mouth" because people who had silver tableware were more likely to withstand the plague. Youtube is full of how to make nano and colloidal silver.
