cds how to was created by clarity
Hello,
There are several videos and posts as to how to make cds. I am interested in the overnight method using an 8 ounces (240mls) amount of distilled h20. I am wondering if 10 mls of sc and 10mls of hcl 4% are the right amounts with this amount of distiilled h20. Some posts recommend 12mls of each and use hcl at 10%. Not sure it really matters. Also it seems stabilization is not needed any more. Am I correct?

Hello Clarity, I'm also interested in 'how-to's' for CDS, as I too have found some interesting variants.
While awaiting a specific answer to your question (I believe you're correct, but I don't yet have experience making CDS), I came upon two videos showing the high-tech and low-tech extremes of technique.
I'm inclined to experiment with the Australian man's injection technique, but also find the Scandinavian man's set-up appealing (with a caveat about using tap water in most places certainly!) --
here they are:
Making CDS from MMS the simple way:
MMS to CDS Brewery:
Hope it helps!

I recommend you follow Kerri Rivera Video, is simple easy and less explosive than the previous one heating the gas and passing to the water solution.

My experience is heat when generating CDS gas is very riskey.
With 10% HCL and a bit to much heat you have a small bomb able to POP.
Less so with 4% HCL and the least but still hazardis Citric Acid 10%
I get the best returns from 50% Citric acid.
I dont use heat any more if its a small amount the shot glass over night method and bigger qty baby bottle with a small air compressor or by blowing. Takes longer but no need for saftey equipment etc.
