I have been on maintenance for a couple of months now. I take one six drop dose of MMS, HCI (I switched to that from Citric Acid because I had read it was easier on the stomach although I don't think I had a problem with Citric Acid) and DMSO every evening before going to bed. I take the dose in about 2 oz of water and then drink clear water afterwards. Lately, I find that it burns my throat and the taste seems worse than it has been? Why would this burning sensation all of a sudden develop. And is HCI always preferable to Citric Acid?

Also, could MMS, given that it is a gas, produce gas in the body?

Don't know why you're suddenly starting to have a burning throat now - you might want to increase your water intake with your dose - Jim would say 1 oz of water with each drop of MMS (or CDH)

HCl is not preferable to citric acid - it's just another option that we use - with everyone so different, some prefer HCl, some prefer CA = your choice.

Chlorine dioxide IS a gas - the process of oxidizing does not produce MORE gas - it produces ions of spent oxygen and salts.

Have you tried to take MMS plus HCl in a gel capsule? No smell, no taste, no burning throat. I use size 0 capsules. They might be a bit small for 12 drops ,so perhaps the 00 size would be better. The HCl activates the MMS in the capsule , the capsule softens fairly quickly, so flush it down with a glass of water. The DMSO could go in a seperate capsule.

Do the activation in glass shot for 30 second covered. And use a dropper to transfer to the # 0 pill. Those hold 15 drops. Your 12 drops should fit without problem. Dont do IT in the gelcaps will explode in your mouth or desintegrade before you are ready.

As always, there are so many conflicting suggestions on how to fill the gel caps.
To activate within or outside of the capsule?
What makes a capsule explode? The activation process?
And, finally, how should the DMSO be added? I thought it needed to mix with MMS for 3 minutes?

Hi, regarding explosion of capsule if not activated first:
I have always mixed the MMS and the HCl in the gel capsule. By the time the capsule has melted in the stomach 30 seconds will be over anyway, and there won't be any loss of Chlorine Dioxide and it is not as messy as letting the two activate first and then transfer the mixture to the capsule. As long as I flush down the capsule with lots of water straight away it has never broken before it lands in my stomach. Regarding the DMSO: I am not an expert on that! Again, if it lands in the stomach in a seperate capsule straight after the first capsule with MMS/HCl it should be able to react with the activated MMS down there. Please correct me if I am wrong, I am learning.

Is not a conflict is Best practice. The reaction between SC and HCL generate gas that expand the pill and has a chance to open before you drink IT. I cant talk about DMSO because i cant used. Yes the pill is the Best method to take MMS if you are able to use IT.

I just followed a thread on the forum, called:

I found it very interesting, it contains sections on activating MMS with HCl first, then transferring it to a capsule,
Or, filling the gel cap with MMS and HCl directly and let it activate in capsule on the way down to and in the stomach,
Adding DMSO to activated MMS before it goes in a capsule or use a seperate capsule with DMSO and swallow it straight after....
It is all there and more:-)

Jim Humble states that all activation must be done outside of the capsule - so activate it first, then add the activated drops to the capsule with the extra water drops.
